Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 Build and Design
This is Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 and here we get a laptop in white polythene and usually we get stickers here but it’s not in this model and we have some manuals, 1 power cord, A 150W power adapter and here we get a laptop and the laptop’s look I got nostalgia.
And there is no such difference in the looks, It is the same look of TUF that we have reviewed a lot and in terms of build I don’t have any complaints, We get this much top lid flex and here is the TUF branding And here we get TUF gaming and here we get this type of texture and here are some cuts and on sides there is some paint And inside this also we get the same look that was there in 2022 and 2023 and here we get some patterns and there is a vent on top And this is the laptop from the backside, It comes in a honeycomb design.
Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 F15 comes with amazing gaming looks Here, You can see the intake vents and on the right side, We get an air exhaust vent and there is no vent on the left side On the left, There are only ports and at the back we get 2 air exhaust vents and as this is 11400H, RTX 2050 and the wattage is low The power brick is also of 150W so the thermals are also decent performing, I will show you that in the game test And the weight of this laptop is 2.1 Kgs so it is not heavy according to a gaming laptop and not light as well It is around 2 KGs, so it is good.
Processor:
- Intel Core i5-11400H 11th Gen: The laptop is powered by a robust 11th generation Intel Core i5-11400H processor, delivering reliable performance for gaming and multitasking.
Specifications & Upgrade Options
This laptop comes with Intel core i5 11400H processor that is a 6 core and 12 thread processor with RTX 2050 i.e. a 4GB graphics card And it comes with 70W TGP, It has 16 GB DDR4 RAM with 3200 MHz clock speed in dual channel and here we get 512 GB GEN 3 SSD Whose read and write speeds are on the screen, We have Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth version 5.2 Plus it has MS Office home as student as well for lifetime and in terms of upgrade options, It has 2 SSD slots And you can upgrade it to a maximum of 2 TB, It supports GEN 3 SSD and for RAM you can upgrade it to a maximum of 32 GB It has 2 slots so you can insert 2 sticks of 16 GB each and MS Office is not mentioned in the variant listed on Amazon but in our variant the MS office sticker is on the box, this is the offline variant I don’t know whether it is available in online or not.
Benchmarks & Performance
As we are talking about the specs of ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 2050 so let’s talk about the performance, Firstly, let’s see the numbers Cinebench R23 scores are on the screen the multicore score is 9843 and single core 1459 and these are Geek bench 6 score Then I did the Blender benchmarks as well of RTX 2050 and the score was 997 that is average, Not so good And these are the Crossmark’s scores Then 3D mark time spy, 4260 total score in which 6499 CPU but the GPU score is average i.e. 4016 And this is the PC mark 10 score i.e. 5685 that is considered good and those who didn’t understood the numbers Let me explain you although that the Cinebench R23 and Geek bench 6 are CPU scores, Higher the number better is the performance And this is useful in comparison with the other laptops in that budget, The blender benchmark denotes GPU power and after that the PC mark 10 and Crossmark denotes day to day tasks, Multitasking and office tasks And with this you can compare different laptops with Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050,3050 or more series and make your buying choice and now let’s talk about this laptop In this, We did 4K video editing and it was easy we didn’t face any issue in this.
Display:
- 15.6″ FHD 144Hz Display: The laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a high refresh rate of 144Hz, providing smooth visuals for an enhanced gaming experience.
Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 with Gaming Looks
If you want to do single PC gaming streaming So, this laptop will do that as well. Not great level but medium level streaming like Valor ant then it will do And if you are a student and you want to do coding, App development, It can do easily If you want to do day to day tasks, Open tabs, Office work, All that can be done easily and for 3D modeling, architecture If those people are thinking of buying this laptop then its GPU is not that powerful, It can do basic level tasks For advanced level tasks, I always recommend 3060 should be minimum or if you buy 4000 series GPU then 4050 minimum 6 GB GPU is needed minimum and even it has a 6 core processor or you can buy an 8 core processor like Ryzen 7 or i7 , i5 and Ryzen 5 can be ignored. And as we are talking about the performance, Have a look at the game test in ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 20250 how does 2050 70W perform with 16 GB RAM, Let’s see that as well This time we started with the heaviest game and we are testing RDR 2 and graphics preset is set to balanced and DLSS is set to quality And I didn’t expect that it will give 60-70 frames on DLSS quality and you can see the thermals as well, It is giving around 45W power Despite that, The CPU temperature is around 80 degrees and the room temperature is also 26 degrees so there is no issue with the thermals and remember it has 16 GB RAM and if you buy 8 GB RAM with RTX 20 series GPU and 6 core processor Then it won’t give such performance so according to 2050 the performance is really good This is the elder brother of 1650 and 1650 Ti so the performance is also like an elder brother After that we have spiderman miles morales and DLSS is set to quality, Resolution is on 1080P and graphics preset it set to medium Ray tracing is off and here we are getting 50-60 FPS that are good on medium settings as this is a heavy game and this graphics card is handling it and you can see it is drawing up to 50W power although after turbo boost the TGP can reach 70W And overall, The gaming performance was good at this price point if you get this below 65,000 and then we tested miles morales again and we kept the same settings, DLSS was on quality but this time ray tracing was on Ray tracing shadows was on medium but the resolution and geometry level was on high And here even after ray tracing on it gave 40 FPS on medium settings and I didn’t expect this performance from ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 2050
Graphics:
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 (4GB): The laptop is equipped with a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU with 4GB of VRAM, enhancing graphics performance for gaming and creative tasks.
So, Here I said at the time of reviewing Aspire that these GPUs can’t handle ray tracing but yes up to an extent they can After that we are testing Valor ant on 1080P settings and graphics quality is set to high and other settings are on the screen And rest, You can see it has 11400H CPU and this is a CPU intensive game and we were getting 200 FPS easily Like 150-190 and 200 that are playable, This has a 144 Hz panel rest if you want to connect an external display And get a gameplay with more FPS then you can set the settings to medium or low and it will give 300 FPS i.e. competitive level.
So, You can get that from this laptop then we tested COD Warzone 2.0 and the graphics preset was set to recommended And the DLSS is set to quality and the other settings you can see they are a mixture of low, medium This is what 2050 can withstand and according to low medium, We are getting 70-80 FPS That are playable, DLSS is on quality and if you set DLSS on balanced then you will get more FPS You will get around 100 FPS so overall in terms of Warzone it gave amazing performance like it was touching 80-90 FPS
Backlit Keyboard:
- RGB Backlit Keyboard: The keyboard features RGB backlighting, allowing users to customize the lighting for a personalized gaming setup.
Then we tested Far Cry 6 in ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 2050 and here we set the quality preset to high and you can see it will consume 3.86 GB of VRAM And here we kept the FSR to quality and I didn’t expect a lot from this laptop that it will give this performance It is giving 80-90 FPS on high settings as well on high settings but FSR is on quality It upscales lower resolution and if somebody doesn’t know about FSR or Nvidia DLSS then search it online Here, The overall performance is good and the thermals as well, There is no issue in this then we have our beloved GTA V in ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 2050, We will play this as much as we can until GTA 6 launches we are playing on 1080P And the settings are a mixture of very high that we usually keep in our games and it gave 100 FPS in this If you compare with 1650 then it is better than that obviously this is not cheap but it is elder brother of 1650 And the main is the RAM you can see around 10 GB RAM is being used and this is the performance when it has 16 GB RAM You won’t get this performance in 8 GB RAM in any laptop and then I thought to push the limits of this innocent child
And we tested Cyberpunk in this and the settings were on medium and DLSS was off in the starting And the Ray tracing was also off, We also tested the Benchmarks and I was getting 30-40 FPS that is really good You can see the temperatures as well and the GPU went to a maximum of 50-55W but it didn’t go to turbo boost Maybe it will give better performance after graphics card update and around 10 GB RAM is consumed That is good, It gave good overall performance with DLSS off, Just remember the settings are on medium after that we kept the settings same but the DLSS ray tracing was still off And here we got a boost of 10-15 FPS, It gave 50-55 FPS that is good as in Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 and here the power consumption went to 60W once So I would say in terms of performance, The GPU is good it gives a decent performance After that, I set Ray tracing to medium and the DLSS was set to quality and here it lost It gave under 20 FPS so you can’t run ray tracing specially in Cyberpunk if you are having 2050
Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 Ports
And this laptop doesn’t disappoint in terms of ports. On the right side we get a USB 3.2 GEN 1 Type-A port all the other ports are on the left side and firstly we have a power input port, RJ45 LAN port, 1 HDMI 2.1 port And 2 USB 3.2 GEN 1 Type-A port and one Thunderbolt 4 Type-C port and a headphone/mic jack combo And this laptop costs Rs 68,000 and it has Thunderbolt 4 port due to which the pricing is on an upper side and those who don’t know about Thunderbolt port, This is a high bandwidth port, It supports display output, Power delivery, and it also supports fast speed data transfer so there are benefits if you think. Usually, this Thunderbolt 4 port supports charging, but this laptop didn’t support charging We used 45W, 60W and 180W charger but there was no charging through the Type-C port.
Keyboard & Trackpad
But it gives the display output and, in this laptop, also we get a single zone RGB keyboard in which there are 3-4 lightings that can be changed, and you can change the lights in Armory crate software, there you will get some effects and the keyboard typing experience is good just like the TUF keyboard, it feels good look wise as well as in typing. And on the top of the keyboard, we get dedicated keys for volume up/down, mute and armory crate and the size of the trackpad is also good, it is fully clickable, and it also support gestures.
Memory and Storage:
- 16GB RAM: Equipped with 16GB of RAM, the laptop ensures efficient multitasking and responsiveness during gameplay.
- 512GB SSD: The laptop offers a spacious 512GB SSD for fast storage access, contributing to quick boot times and reduced loading times in games.

Display and Display Output of Asus Gaming TUF RTX 2050
The display TUF series have a basic display with 1080P resolution that is antiglare, It is an IPS panel and it comes with 144Hz refresh rate And this is a basic display with 45% NTSC i.e. 62% sRGB and 250 nits brightness and those who didn’t understood the numbers Let me tell you it has a Full HD panel so it is good for basic tasks, movies, OTT and it has 250 nits brightness That is considered low in terms of laptops and in mostly gaming laptops, You will get 250 nits only Because companies invest the money in performance so you have to compromise in the display And this 45% NTSC is good for basic tasks like movies, colors are decent and if you want to do gaming in this then there is no issue But the colors are not so good so the color accuracy tasks won’t be possible in this laptop You have to buy an external monitor for that. Talking about the display Its output is from IGPU That is of the internal display and this laptop doesn’t come with MUX switch because it has 11th generation CPU If we connect external display through HDMI then the output comes through IGPU.
Operating System:
- Windows 11: The laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 11, providing a modern and user-friendly operating system environment.
Speaker, Mic & Webcam
Here we have Thunderbolt 4 port with this also we will get the output through ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 20250 and this is its webcam test, and it has a 720P webcam We get this type of quality, The quality is decent, it is not that great, neither too bad nor you can tell me the mic quality in the comments. Speakers are okay, it has 2 speakers of 2W each and both are down firing, and they are not that loud the sound is average and there is no such bass and treble in this, the speakers are okay.
Design and Portability:
- Weight: Weighing 2.30 kg, the laptop is relatively portable, making it suitable for on-the-go gaming or productivity tasks.
- Color: The laptop comes in a sleek black design, contributing to a gamer-friendly aesthetic.
Battery Backup in Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050
And this laptop comes with one more disappointment i.e. 48 W battery and below 50W battery in gaming laptop is almost useless Here, we get 1.5-2 hours of backup on basic usage and multitasking and YouTube. You won’t be satisfied with the battery backup So; this was the complete review of Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050

Conclusion & FAQs
Now talking about the conclusion and your questions that we asked on Instagram in which some questions were repeating again and again like how it in comparison with TUF is 4800H with 3050 Or the Dell G15 with 3050 whether it is with i5 12th generation or 16600H so you get these laptops between 65-70,000 And obviously they are better than this TUF because they have 3050, 3050 will be obviously better than Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050, if you have more budget then you can denied to buy Asus TUF Gaming RTX 2050 beside Asus TUF Gaming RTX 3050
We get to know by numbers only and you get a better processor plus battery is also good, It has a 90 W battery So, I will give a direct answer that you should skip the laptop and go for 3050 variants that are available for less than Rs 70,000 And people were asking for comparison with Aspire as well that has 1240P and 2050 40W, I don’t need to tell that this one is better But this is expensive than Aspire as well, Remember that also and the weight of this TUF is 400 grams more than Aspire targets different users and this is purely high performance gaming laptop and a lot of people asked whether this is better than 1650/1650 Ti , You saw the performance, This is obviously better Plus 1650 is old now and this is the new 1650, You will get 2050 laptops instead of 1650 currently but they are on an expensive side I have reviewed only 2, In the starting they were expensive but then the price reduced.
Definitely its price will also reduce Because this is being sold for 67-68K and company also sees that at this price point other laptops are selling more So, Why will anyone buy at this price, So, It will come below 65,000 or maybe around 60,000 And around 60-65K it is good but currently it is expensive, Currently you can increase the budget and consider other options You can skip this I don’t have any recommendation right now. rest how do you like the blog, the laptop, the performance You can tell me in the comments and follow if you are watching for the first time.
